Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale
- Meet English language proficiency standards if the bachelor’s or master’s degree was not completed at an accredited North American institution. Acceptable proofs include:
- IELTS Academic: Overall band score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in all bands (IELTS Indicator not accepted)
- TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 88 with minimum scores of 13 (Reading), 12 (Listening), 18 (Speaking), and 21 (Writing). TOEFL iBT Home Edition is accepted
- Pearson Academic (PTE): Overall 65 with a minimum of 60 in all bands
- Successful completion of the University Pathway Program from partner schools such as ILAC, ILSC, VGC International College, The Language Gallery, or SELC College (with specific levels required for direct entry)
- Must be a prospective student applying specifically to the Energy Management program at New York Tech–Vancouver campus
