Master of Business Administration – Entrance Academic Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

• Hold a minimum overall GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale from their bachelor’s degree program.
• Demonstrate English proficiency unless the bachelor’s degree was completed at an accredited North American institution. Accepted English proficiency tests and minimum scores include:
  • IELTS Academic: Overall band score of 6.5 with at least 6.0 in Speaking and Writing (IELTS Indicator not accepted).
  • TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 88 with minimum scores of 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing (TOEFL iBT Home accepted).
  • Pearson Academic (PTE): Overall score of 65 with minimum 60 in Speaking and Writing.
• Alternatively, successful completion of the University Pathway Program from one of the partner schools with the following direct entry levels:
  • ILAC: PW 3.3
  • ILSC: Level A2
  • VGC International College: UP Level 7
  • The Language Gallery: Level UPP 6
  • SELC College: Level 4 (for MBA program only)
• Must be a prospective student applying specifically for the MBA program at New York Tech-Vancouver.

Scholarship Value

• The scholarship awards US$6,000 towards tuition fees.
• It applies only to the summer or fall term tuition for the 2026 intake.
• Only the top 20 eligible candidates will receive this award.

Important Notes

• This scholarship is exclusively for the Spring 2026 or Summer 2026 term.
• Meeting the minimum eligibility does not guarantee selection, as the award is competitive and limited to the top applicants.
• Applicants should ensure they meet all English language requirements as specified for the MBA program.
