Overview

Tiffin University offers a range of International Merit Scholarships for undergraduate freshmen, transfer students, and graduate students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship Awards for International Undergraduate Freshmen

  • Trustee Scholarship: GPA 3.8 & above — $18,000 per year
  • President Scholarship: GPA 3.5 to 3.79 — $16,000 per year
  • Dean Grant: GPA 3.0 to 3.49 — $14,000 per year
  • 1888 Grant: GPA 2.5 to 2.99 — $13,000 per year
  • Green & Gold Grant: GPA 2.49 & below — $11,000 per year

Scholarship Awards for International Undergraduate Transfer Students

  • Transfer Trustee Scholarship: GPA 3.75 & above — $17,000 per year
  • Transfer President Scholarship: GPA 3.50 to 3.749 — $15,000 per year
  • Transfer Dean Grant: GPA 2.70 to 3.499 — $13,000 per year
  • Transfer 1888 Grant: GPA 2.0 to 2.699 — $11,000 per year

Scholarship Awards for International Graduate Students

  • International Honors Scholarship: GPA 3.80 to 4.00 — $4,000 per year
  • International Excellence Scholarship: GPA 3.51 to 3.79 — $3,000 per year
  • International Academic Scholarship: GPA 3.01 to 3.50 — $2,000 per year

  • All Merit Scholarships for international students include an automatic $1,000 ApplyBoard Supplementary Grant annually.
  • These scholarships are awarded based on cumulative high school GPA for undergraduates and graduate GPA for graduate students.
