International Merit Scholarship

Overview

The Middle Tennessee State University International Merit Scholarship offers substantial financial support to high-achieving international students based on academic excellence. This scholarship is designed to reward students with strong GPA scores or standardized test results, helping to make education more affordable at MTSU.

Scholarship Amounts and Eligibility Criteria

$16,000 per year for students with:
- GPA between 3.75 and 4.0, or
- SAT score of 1370 or higher, or
- ACT score of 30 or higher
$12,000 per year for students with:
- GPA between 3.5 and 3.74, or
- SAT score of 1210 or higher, or
- ACT score of 25 or higher
$6,000 per year for students with:
- GPA between 3.0 and 3.49, or
- SAT score of 1040 or higher, or
- ACT score of 20 or higher

Eligibility

Open to F-1 international students.
Students are automatically considered for the International Merit Scholarship upon application.
Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so early application is encouraged.
