International Year One Scholarship
Overview
The University of Sussex International Study Centre offers the International Year One Scholarship for the 2025/26 academic year, providing valuable financial support to international students enrolling in selected International Year One programmes. This scholarship aims to reward academic potential and assist students in progressing to degree-level study at the University of Sussex.
Scholarship Details
- Availability: From 2nd October 2024 to 31st March 2026
- Applicable Academic Year: 2025/26 programmes starting on or after 26th August 2025
- Duration: 2 semesters
- Application: Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis
- Confirmation: Successful applicants must confirm or conditionally confirm their place within 14 days of the offer
- Note: Scholarship amounts vary by pathway and availability; not all programmes or progression degree choices are eligible
Eligible Programmes and Scholarship Values
The scholarship is available for the International Year One Programme across various academic pathways, with award amounts ranging as follows:
- Business and Management: £1,000 to £4,000
- Computing: £1,000 to £2,500
- Engineering: £1,000 to £3,500
- Film and Media: £1,000 to £4,500
- Finance and Accounting: £1,000 to £6,000
- Fintech: £1,000 to £3,500
- International Relations and International Development: £1,000 to £6,500
