Overview
International postgraduate students paying overseas fees at the University of East Anglia (UEA) can benefit from the International PG Merit Scholarship C for the 2026/7 academic year. Scholarship Value
- £4,000 for students with an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK 2:2 classification
- £5,000 for students with an undergraduate degree equivalent to at least a UK 2:1 classification
The scholarship amount will be deducted from your tuition fees. For two-year programmes, the award applies only to the first year of study.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an international student paying overseas fees
- Must be joining an eligible postgraduate taught or PGCE programme at UEA starting in September 2026 or January 2027
- Degree classification must meet the minimum UK equivalent of 2:2 or 2:1 as specified

Exclusions
The following courses are not eligible for this scholarship:
- MBBS courses
- Any Integrated Masters programmes
- MSc Global Plant Health
- MSc Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement
- MSc Occupational Therapy
- MSc Physiotherapy
- MA The Arts of Africa, Oceania and The Americas
