International Foundation Year Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to international students enrolling in the International Foundation Year programme starting on or after 26th August 2025.
• Scholarships apply to specific pathways:
  • Business, Social Science and Humanities (excluding progression to BA Architecture and Landscape, BA Architecture, MEng Structural Engineering & Architecture)
  • Computer Science
  • Dentistry
  • Science and Engineering
• Students must confirm or conditionally confirm their place within 14 days of being offered the scholarship.
• Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and availability may vary by programme and region.
• Not all progression degree choices are eligible; exclusions apply particularly in certain architecture and engineering courses.

Scholarship Value

• For Business, Social Science and Humanities pathway:
  • 1.5 semester duration: £1,000 to £7,000
  • 2 semester duration: £1,000 to £7,500
• For Computer Science pathway:
  • 2 semester duration N/A
• For Dentistry pathway:
  • 2 semester duration N/A
• For Science and Engineering pathway:
  • 1.5 semester duration: £1,000 to £7,000
  • 2 semester duration: £1,000 to £7,500

Important Notes

• Scholarships are valid only for the 2025/26 academic year programmes beginning on or after 26th August 2025.
• The maximum scholarship amount may not always be available due to limited funding and demand.
• Certain scholarships are awarded less frequently and depend on programme demand in specific regions.
• Students should apply early to maximize their chances of receiving the scholarship.
