International Foundation Year Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to international students enrolling in the International Foundation Year programme at Liverpool John Moores University International Study Centre.
• Available for the following pathways:
  • Business, Law and Social Studies
  • Engineering, Computing and Life Sciences
• Scholarships apply only to programmes starting on or after 26th August 2025.
• Students must confirm or conditionally confirm their place within 14 days of being offered the scholarship.
• Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Not all programmes or progression degree choices are eligible; some exclusions apply (specific ineligible programmes are not listed here).
• Scholarship availability and amounts may vary depending on regional demand and programme need.

Scholarship Value

• Award amounts range from £1,000 to £4,000 depending on the pathway and availability.
• The scholarship covers 2 semesters of study.

Important Notes

• Scholarships are valid only for the 2025/26 academic year.
• The maximum scholarship amount may not always be available due to limited funding.
• Certain scholarships may be awarded less frequently and on a case-by-case basis depending on programme and region.
• Early application is encouraged to maximize chances of receiving the scholarship.
