International Foundation Year Scholarship

Eligibility and Scholarship Details

• Available for Foundation Year programmes starting on or after 26th August 2025.
• Scholarships apply to two-semester programmes.
• Pathways eligible for scholarships include:
  • Business, Law and Social Studies
  • Science, Engineering and Computing
• Scholarship amounts range from £1,000 to £5,500, depending on the pathway and availability.
• Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Not all programmes or progression degree choices qualify for the scholarship; some programmes are excluded.
• Certain scholarships may be awarded less frequently and based on regional programme demand.

Application and Confirmation

• Scholarship applications open from 2nd October 2024 and close on 31st March 2026.
• Students offered a scholarship must confirm or conditionally confirm their place within 14 days of the offer.
• Early application is encouraged to maximize chances of receiving the scholarship.

• The maximum scholarship amount may not always be available.
• Scholarships are specifically for international students enrolling in the Foundation Year at Leeds International Study Centre.
