Overview

The University of Westminster offers a significant tuition fee reduction to support new EU/EEA and other eligible international students starting undergraduate studies. This award provides a £4,500 discount on the first year’s tuition fees for eligible students beginning at level 3 (Foundation) or level 4 (first year) based solely on an EU qualification.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this tuition fee reduction, applicants must:

  • Be classified as International/Overseas for fee purposes.
  • Start a full-time undergraduate course at the University of Westminster in September at level 3 (Foundation) or level 4 (first year). Students beginning at level 5 or level 6 are not eligible.
  • Gain entry solely on the basis of an eligible EU qualification. Students with mixed EU and non-EU qualifications are not eligible.
  • Note that eligibility is based on qualifications, not nationality; students with EU qualifications from international schools outside Europe may also qualify.
  • Recipients of this award cannot apply for a second University of Westminster scholarship.

Scholarship Value

  • A tuition fee reduction of £4,500 is awarded for the first year only.
  • Full tuition fees apply for subsequent years of study.

Application Process

  • No separate application is required.
  • Eligibility is assessed automatically at the confirmation stage upon receipt of grades.
  • Unconditional offer holders do not need to notify the university.
  • The reduced fee will not appear on the initial offer letter but will be reflected on the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).
