Ottawa Campus MBA Program Scholarships
Overview
International Business University is offering new bursaries for its Ottawa Campus MBA programs starting January 2026, designed to enhance affordability and competitiveness for international and onshore students. These bursaries provide significant tuition reductions for eligible students who make new tuition deposits within the specified application windows.
Eligibility Criteria

MBA Head Start Bursary – High Converting Nationalities
- For offshore students holding nationalities listed in Appendix 1.
- Must make a new tuition deposit between December 10, 2025, and January 2, 2026.
- Must commence the MBA program in January 2026.
- Not applicable for students already enrolled who request a deferral.

MBA Empower Bursary – Low Converting Nationalities
- For offshore students with nationalities not listed in Appendix 1.
- Must make a new tuition deposit between December 10, 2025, and January 2, 2026.
- Must commence the MBA program in January 2026.
- Not applicable for students already enrolled who request a deferral.

Onshore MBA Advancement Bursary
- For onshore students holding a valid study permit, work permit, or visitor record.
- Must make a new tuition deposit between December 10, 2025, and January 16, 2026.
- Must commence the MBA program in January 2026.
Scholarship Values and Tuition Fees

MBA Head Start Bursary
- Original tuition: $37,000 CAD
- Scholarship amount: $9,000 CAD ($5,000 + $4,000 additional bursary)
- Net tuition after bursary: $28,000 CAD

MBA Empower Bursary
- Original tuition: $37,000 CAD
- Scholarship amount: $4,000 CAD
- Net tuition after bursary: $33,000 CAD

Onshore MBA Advancement Bursary
- Original tuition: $37,000 CAD
- Scholarship amount: $11,500 CAD
- Net tuition after bursary: $25,500 CAD
Important Conditions and Notes
- These bursaries apply only to new tuition deposits made during the specified periods.
- Students must begin their MBA program in January 2026 to be eligible.
- Students who are already enrolled and request a deferral are not eligible for these bursaries.
- There is a transfer cap of 10 students allowed to transfer from the Toronto campus to the Ottawa campus during this launch phase. Only students with approved status are eligible for these transfer spots.
Appendix 1: High Converting Nationalities
Eligible offshore nationalities for the MBA Head Start Bursary include but are not limited to:
