Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to current University of Windsor students from any country (domestic or international)
  • Full-time or part-time enrollment status
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Demonstrated good citizenship through community and/or campus involvement
  • Students must have been significantly impacted by a global conflict, affecting their ability to continue studies
  • Consent to the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) Consent and Notice of Disclosure statement is required

  • Value: $10,000 per award
  • Number of Awards: 10 for the 2024-25 academic year
  • Funded jointly by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) and the University of Windsor
  • May be held concurrently with other university or donor-sponsored awards

Application Process

  • Applications open August 1 and close October 15 (application window may be extended, but early application is encouraged due to limited funding)
  • Apply through UWinsite Student by logging in and completing the Award Profile Form:
    1. Complete profile questions

    3. Apply to the award if eligible
  • Applicants must submit a personal statement describing:
    • How they have been impacted by a global conflict
    • Their academic achievements

    • How the scholarship will assist with their financial and academic goals
