Bright Futures Grant

Eligibility Criteria

• Open exclusively to international applicants pursuing a bachelor's degree at University Canada West.
• Applicable programs:
  • Bachelor of Commerce
  • Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication
• Students must commence their program before their admission offer expires.
• No program changes allowed after receiving the grant.
• Must maintain full-time enrollment status and good academic standing throughout the program.
• All fees not covered by the grant must be paid by their due dates.

Award Value

• Bachelor of Commerce: $29,750 for 2026 intake year.
• Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication: $29,750 for 2026 intake year.
• The grant amount is pro-rated based on the number of credits required to complete the program.
• If transfer credits or Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) credits are awarded, the grant amount will be adjusted accordingly.

Disbursal Details

• Disbursements begin from the first term of enrollment, excluding any preparatory course terms.

Important Conditions and Notes

• The grant is awarded automatically at the point of admission if eligibility criteria are met; no separate application is required.
• The award may be withdrawn without notice unless the student has already received an official Letter of Acceptance (LOA).
• Scholarships, bursaries, and awards are subject to change without prior notice.
• If the allocated financial support pool is exhausted before the end of the award program’s validity, the grant may be withdrawn for subsequent applicants.

Award Validity

• Available for new bachelor’s degree students starting in any term in 2026.
