MetFilm School delivers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in filmmaking, screen acting, and digital media. With campuses in Berlin, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Leeds, London, and Manchester, students gain access to vibrant creative hubs across Europe. The school offers hands-on learning, professional-standard facilities, and a teaching staff of industry practitioners. Students engage with the global film industry, from Berlin’s iconic Babelsberg Studios to the UK's dynamic creative centres. MetFilm School is a part of BIMM University, one of the largest providers of creative arts courses in Europe. The university is made up of MetFilm School, BIMM Music Institute, Performers College, and MetStudios. Together, they offer an extensive range of courses in modern music, performing arts, filmmaking, animation, games, and VFX to over 10,000 students in the UK, Ireland, and Germany.

  • Film Scene: Brighton has attracted filmmakers for decades, offering diverse filming locations for movies like Brighton Rock, Quadrophenia, 20,000 Days on Earth, and most recently My Policeman and ITV’s Grace.   • Campus: The Brighton campus is spread over three state-of-the-art sites: Old Steine, London Road and Brighton Film Studios. Facilities include five film sets, five Mac suites, two editing suites and two dedicated screening rooms. Students can also relax in our comfortable common rooms and student spaces. The Old Steine site is right in the city centre, just a stone’s throw from the pier and the Lanes, while the production house on London Road is a short walk from Brighton Station. The newly expanded Brighton Film Studios boasts 11,000 square feet of space, including cutting-edge film sets, editing suites and a green room with hair, make-up and costume facilities.
