About Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Physics with Computer Science (F3G4)
The combination of physics theories with practical applications of computer science will ensure that students graduate career-ready. They will receive a comprehensive physics education taught by award-winning academics and gain skills in mathematical modeling and programming throughout the degree. These skills will serve as tools for problem-solving in later years of the course.
The year spent studying computer science will enhance students’ computational skills, which can be applied to their physics research project in the final year. For example, they may explore machine learning in physics or computational astrophysics.
Optional modules can be chosen from year two in areas of interest, such as astrophysics, medical physics and imaging, semiconductor physics, theoretical elementary particle physics, quantum dynamics, software engineering, AI, and machine learning.
