Product Update – Search Revamp

Our mission is to make education accessible to people around the world. One of the ways we do this is by making it easy for you to search for programs and schools that meet the unique needs of your students.

Why We Redesigned the Search Experience

To provide you with the best user experience, we’ve taken this opportunity to redesign our program and school search page and improve the performance of the search system. This redesign has drastically reduced the amount of time it takes to find programs and schools, surfacing better search results based on your applicant’s preferences and eligibility.

What’s Being Updated and When

The new search system includes a completely new layout, UI design, and two new smart search boxes. You will be able to access the new search system on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM EST. A prompt will be added at the top of the existing search with a link to try the new search. We encourage all users to become comfortable with the new search as it will eventually replace the existing search.

New Search and Auto-Complete

We’ve placed two search boxes at the top of the search page. In the WHAT box, you can search program titles. In the WHERE box, you can search for anything related to the location including country, province/state, city, and school name.

Eligibility and School Filters

We’ve made eligibility filters and school filters more accessible by displaying them on the left side of the search page. This will allow you to access them at any time without losing the view of search results.

How to Access the New Search Page

Starting on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM EST you can access the new search page by clicking the link in the prompt at the top of the existing search page.
