Established in 1966, Centennial College has been providing high quality, hands-on education to students for more than 50 years. In fact, Centennial is the oldest publicly funded college in Ontario! Based in Toronto, Centennial is also one of Ontario’s highest-rated colleges for program and service quality. It’s home to students from more than 100 ethnocultural groups and has been ranked as one of Canada’s Top 10 Research Colleges.

Overall, Centennial is a very popular study destination for international students, but its large number of campuses can make things a bit confusing. To help you make sense of each Centennial College location, we’ve highlighted the programs and specializations of the various campuses below.

Centennial College – Progress


Centennial’s Progress campus is the college’s largest and is located in Toronto’s east end neighbourhood of Scarborough. The campus offers joint programs with the University of Toronto Scarborough and is home to Centennial’s School of Tourism, Business and Hospitality, and Culinary Arts.

Pickering Learning Site

Centennial College’s Pickering Learning Site is a satellite campus located just east of Toronto in Durham Region. Here, students will find select post-graduate programs in Project Management and Strategic Management. Both programs offer 1-year graduate certificates, with a full-time 14-week internship designed with experiential learning in mind.

Eglinton Learning Site

Centennial’s Eglinton Learning Site is conveniently located in Toronto’s midtown district and is just a short walking distance from Eglinton Park. This campus is geared toward students looking to enter post-secondary programs of study. The 2-year ESL program is designed to help students of all levels develop their English language skills. In addition, the Eglinton campus offers a Graduate Certificate in Marketing – Digital Engagement Strategy with an optional co-op work term.

Ashtonbee


Centennial College’s Ashtonbee campus is located about a 20-minute drive southwest of the Progress campus in Scarborough. This campus is home to one of the largest transportation technology training centres in North America and offers a variety of 2-year College Diploma programs. These include:

Downsview

Centennial College’s Downsview location is arguably one of the most exciting college campuses in Canada. Located in Downsview Park, the campus repurposed the old de Havilland Canada aircraft manufacturing facility to create 138,000 square feet of instruction space. Home to Centennial’s long-running Aviation Technician programs, the campus even houses a hangar large enough to fit commercial jets.

Morningside 


Located not far from the Progress campus,
Centennial College – Morningside opened its doors in 2004. Previously known as Centennial College Science Technology Centre, Morningside offers joint programs with the University of Toronto Scarborough. The campus specializes in health science and environmental science programs, including:

Centennial College – Story Arts Centre

Located near the Danforth in East York, the Story Arts Centre campus is home to Centennial’s award-winning School of Communications, Media, Arts and Design. Students have access to programs in advertising, public relations, as well as performance arts. Here are a few popular programs worth checking out:

Fun fact: the Story Arts Centre was the shooting location of the popular early 1990s Canadian TV series Degrassi High.
